Autumn loves to hold Grant and practices carrying him all the time. I cannot take a picture of her carrying him because I am right next to her afraid he'll be dropped any second.
We went to Lake Sammamish to see the Christmas boat parade. I could not get any decent pics of the actual boats. This is the park we played at while waiting for the boat debut. We really wanted to get good pictures to share with David's parents because we were wondering why the folks at Pinnacle have not thought of this yet. The boats were decked out with Christmas lights, Santa, Frosty and all kinds of Christmas themes and they paraded by the beach while we enjoyed bonfires and free hot cocoa. I love Washington state.
You know you have little kids in your house when you find a sock in your Christmas tree nestled amongst the ornaments.
Autumn and Levi have started sleeping with one another in Levi's bed. I find it darling.
We went to Bellevue Square for the annual Christmas show put on outside. The little ones love to dance and sing along and try to catch the snow (bubbles) falling from the tops of the buildings. Ashley went another night with her friend instead of going with us.

Enjoying a new hike |
Grant is growing so large! He has maxed out his 6 month clothing at 3 months.
Autumn was so proud of her little Gingerbread house that she made in school (on Pajama Day). Ashley and Autumn both made a large gingerbread house but Autumn's request is that everyone see the house that she made all by herself. Also on the table were the world's worst tasting gingerbread man cookies. We will go back to decorating sugar cookies next year.
These three are so cute together. Grant is typically a little scared of Levi since he's always so loud and rough. He loves Autumn though.
We found the absolute best park to ride bikes (jogging stroller for Grant and I - he's not ready for his bike seat yet). We spent two hours having tons of fun when I suddenly realized there were signs up all over saying bikes were not allowed. Who makes a park that you cannot ride bikes at? It's so hilly where we live that I thought a giant flat park was the most fantastic find ever. It did not even dawn on me that bikes could be disallowed. It makes me appreciate Texas since they would not make such stupid rules. We will never be back but we sure did have fun that day.
On Christmas Eve we went on a hike. At the beginning the littles ones and David were playing tag. Unfortunately Ashley was in Texas her whole break. We missed her.

The kiddos opened one gift each on Christmas Eve.
Merry Christmas!!

Although we had a wonderful Christmas together, we really really really missed our family back in Texas. I absolutely love Washington state but I think I love our extended family more. I wish everyone could live here, but since that will never happen all I can do is be patient and wait and pray that we can move back to be close to everyone.
