Enjoying Washington State

First of all, please excuse my writing skills on this blog.  I am not the best writer, and I'll probably always write late at night drinking wine and waiting for David to get home (during the busy season anyways).

The first week we were here, the weather was absolutely lovely.  We tried out some local hikes & restaurants and played outside as much as we could.  

Both of these pictures were taken at the XXX Root Beer burger joint that we went to.  You can't tell from Ashley's picture, but David accidentally ordered the world's biggest burger.  It had 4 patties and the bun was about 10 inches across.  He could barely eat it and gave up after making a colossal mess.

This hike was close to our apartment on Tiger Mountain.  What we didn't know when we started is that it went straight up the mountain (crazy steep for little ones).  The kids did a great job on climbing something so steep.  The only complaints came from our biggest kid :-)
