Leaving Texas

On Sunday, September 8th, our family flew from Dallas to Seattle.   The toughest part of the plane flight was handling all of our luggage (4 packed bags, 2 car seats, 5 carry-on bags plus personal items).   Once AA had everything from us the rest of the trip went fairly easy.  Autumn and Levi were amazing on the plane.  They behaved wonderfully and enjoyed staring out the window or playing with toys.  I let them chew gum when their ears starting hurting, but by the 3rd piece that Levi had swallowed I realized that he just wasn't old enough to understand that you don't swallow gum.  Oh well.

Once we landed in Seattle, we had to load up our temporary vehicles with all of our belongings and travel to our new apartment.  Everyone was so exhausted and were quite pleased with our temporary housing.  Ashley is thrilled to have a king bed and the kids think we're in a big hotel for now.   We'll see how long they like it here.

Autumn & Levi were super impressed that the hotel we stayed in Saturday night had a balcony.
I took about one million pictures of these kiddos on the plane.  No luck in getting both of them to look cute at the same time.  Levi's face in this picture is pretty much the best I could find.  Still cute though!  They obviously loved looking out the window and were quite pumped when we flew right next to Mt. Rainier.
These two behaved well on the plane too!  Ha.  I'm glad the little ones were good, because I was a tad bit jealous that David & Ashley were enjoying their own books/movies while I wrangled a massive bag of toys to entertain Autumn & Levi.
