We celebrated David's 34th birthday on June 2nd! We planned on celebrating by taking an all-day trip to Mt. St. Helens but decided that 8 hrs of driving in one day might be unpleasant with little ones. We went hiking at a different location instead and put off Mt. St. Helens until July.
Birthday gift was an exciting array of hunting items picked out by the birthday boy himself |

Levi takes itty-bitty sports classes at our YMCA. He loved baseball and soccer but basketball was just a disaster. We'll skip the next round of basketball classes until he's older. They rotate sports every six weeks.

David playing basketball with the kids at the YMCA after we went swimming one day Ashley refuses to go to the YMCA with us. |
We finally went to our first sporting event since we moved here. David received tickets form work to attend the Mariners vs Rangers on Father's Day. David's actually been to several baseball games through work situations, but it was the first time for the kids and I.
Ashley decided to babysit instead of going with us. In case anyone noticed, Ashley has turned into a true teenager since we moved and is not very interested in spending time with us anymore.

Happy Father's Day and Go Rangers! |
During Spring Break, Autumn took a week-long cheerleading class with a few of her friends. We would play at the park afterwards. None of the pictures of Autumn's final presentation day came out well.
David went out of town to Germany and we always have a blast when he's gone. We don't have so much fun because he's gone, but because I make sure that the kids nap every day and then we stay up late together so that I don't miss David too much in the evenings. On the last night before David came home, we went to see How to Train Your Dragon 2 and then ate ice cream afterwards. Unfortunately our favorite two places close to the theater were packed so I found the first ice cream joint with available parking. Has anyone had Baskin Robbins recently? It looked so gross that I wasn't even mildly tempted to order anything and I tried the kids flavors and it was dreadful. Do not eat there.
One weekend we also attended the Bellevue Strawberry Festival.
The local events around here are always fun.
