May 2014

April was filled with nothing in particular.  We stay busy every weekend with hiking, attending the local farmers markets or a random weekend festival.

Autumn's preschool put on the sweetest Mother's Day Tea event.
The mothers were treated to several cute songs

Card and a vase made proudly by Autumn.
This girl loves art projects of any kind.

We still have swim lessons twice weekly at the YMCA.  Levi has finally stopped screaming when he's required to go under water.  His teachers are so patient because he's constantly negotiating with them about what he is and isn't willing to do.  All of the other kids in his class just go with the flow.

Will go underwater now with goggles

Three girls in her class have brothers the same age as Levi
so we spend many days at the preschool playground

He's so proud to be at the top of the
"Spiderman Web".  Recently Levi's really
into super heroes.
I'm sure he's safe, but my overbearing
mommy instincts say its too high.

They attempt to play in the sprinkler in the sunshine
but take several breaks once the shivering is too severe.

Autumn and her friend Sophie were so proud of themselves
for putting the puzzle together without any adult help.

Autumn's preschool also had an end of year graduation for the kids heading off to kindergarten next year.  Autumn was sad that none of the girls in her class will attend her school next year.  It's surprising since the preschool is so close to our home.

Portrait of Uncle Zach
Found this in her school workbook where she draws pictures for each letter in the alphabet.

David took the day off and we went hiking close to Mt. Rainier.  We could not go in the national forest since we wanted to take the dogs with us.

We stopped by Cabela's on the way home from hiking.  Since David was taking his time in the gun section, the salesman took pity on my pregnant self and gave us enough free tokens to play this gun game for a good 30 min.  It was a massive amount of tokens.

Autumn is too cute.
I don't know how she sleeps with so many stuffed animals.

Goodbye oversize Texas vehicle
Hello to beautiful new car with 4WD.  Thanks David!
Now we can visit a lot more locations during the winter months.
